Terms of service

DiningBrief provides fixed-scope competitor review research for restaurants and related food-service venues. These terms apply to the website, checkout, intake, and delivered decision brief.

Eligibility and evidence

DiningBrief depends on a meaningful body of publicly available reviews. We assess evidence after payment. If the selected venue and comparison set cannot support a useful brief, the order will be refunded instead of fulfilled with weak research.

Scope and payment

The founding offer is a one-time $99 USD purchase covering one venue, up to three customer-selected competitors, and one governing research question. Competitor fields are optional. DiningBrief does not silently select replacements. There is no subscription.

The deliverable

The decision brief may include recurring diner priorities, menu-experience patterns, service-stage friction, value perception, atmosphere, competitor context, source-linked evidence, counter-evidence, limitations, and recommended tests. The number of findings depends on the evidence.

Research limits

Public reviews cannot establish sales mix, contribution margin, food cost, table turnover, staffing levels, profitability, or private operating procedures. DiningBrief is research support, not financial, legal, food-safety, employment, or operational consulting. It does not guarantee revenue, traffic, ratings, or commercial outcomes.

Sources and quotations

Reports may use short attributed excerpts and links to publicly available reviews. Availability varies by market and platform. Sources that cannot support reliable attribution, dates, or evidence lineage may be excluded or used only as bounded context.

Corrections

A factual-correction request may cover an incorrect venue detail, competitor identification, source attribution, quotation, or other factual error. It does not include a new question, different comparison set, expanded research, or additional deliverable.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse forms, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with checkout or administration, or submit content you do not have the right to provide.

Changes

These terms may change as DiningBrief develops. A paid order remains governed by the scope and terms presented when payment was made.
